A surf culture brand from Lofoten. We give back to the ocean that made us.
PACIFIC
NORTH WEST.
Cold Water Kids started as an idea while exploring surf conditions along the coast of the Pacific North West, USA. We wanted to create products that combined our love for art, the environment and surfing.
It started with 20 hand screen-printed t-shirts in a small garage in Bellingham. They sold out fast. We knew there was something here.
THE ONLY
PLACE.
In 2021 we moved production to Lofoten — one of the world's greatest cold water surf destinations. When the waves aren't pumping, we're in the studio. When they are, we're in the water.
This is where Cold Water Kids was always meant to be.
The idea is born. 20 hand screen-printed t-shirts in a garage on the Pacific North West coast. They sell out immediately.
Production moves to Norway. We start screen-printing in a basement in Oslo — but the pull of real waves becomes too strong.
We move to Kabelvåg, Lofoten. The ocean, the mountains, the cold water. This is where Cold Water Kids was always meant to be.
The culture. We live in the water — cold water. That's not a detail, it's everything. It shapes how we think, what we make and why we exist.
The platform. We collaborate with artists, photographers and illustrators who share our connection to the ocean. Their work. Their story.
The responsibility. The ocean gives us everything. We build around what's real — the place, the people, the art — and we give something back.
PRINTED.
BY HAND.
When we developed our products, there was one word we all agreed on: quality. We screen-print everything ourselves, using sustainable materials and unique designs rooted in cold water surf culture.
No shortcuts. No mass production. Just craft — made in Lofoten.
SOULS
WELCOME.
We are always looking for creative people who share our vision. Whether you surf, make art or just love the ocean — there is a place for you in the Cold Water Kids community.
